Gala Supports County's Largest Maternal Health Nonprofit
MOMS Healthy Beginnings, Bright Futures Gala Honors Dads at Strawberry Farms Golf Club
MOMS, the county’s largest nonprofit dedicated solely to newborn and pregnancy health, will host its annual Healthy Beginnings, Bright Futures fundraising gala on Saturday, June 8 in the Barn at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine.
Held just prior to Father’s Day (Sunday, June 16), the evening will spotlight MOMS work with fathers while honoring 25-year board member Mark C. Marten. A father, now a grandfather, Marten joined the board in 1999 and was instrumental in expanding MOMS services for fathers. President and CEO for Athena Group Consulting, LLC, Marten will be joined at the gala by his wife Arlene, a retired pediatric nurse and a passionate supporter of MOMS mission.
The Healthy Beginnings, Bright Futures gala “An Evening of Rustic Elegance” will feature a robust silent auction, compelling stories by fathers in the program and live entertainment.
