Hazmat Team Contains Leak At Orange County Industrial Facility

GARDEN GROVE, CA — A "significant" carbon dioxide leak was contained Saturday morning at an industrial facility in Garden Grove, authorities said.

Firefighters were dispatched at 6:25 a.m. Saturday to the 12000 block of Western Avenue, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

"Our hazmat team and first-arriving firefighters safely evacuated the building, established a secure perimeter, and contained the leak," the agency said.
