Here are the top stories today in Orange County:

  1. A red flag warning was issued for Orange County with an increased risk of wildfires due to low humidity and strong Santa Ana winds Saturday. The warning "will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday" for the Malibu coast and coastal Orange County to inland areas and the Santa Ana Mountains. Another wind advisory has been issued for Saturday through early Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Strong winds "are expected to peak through early Saturday afternoon," forecasters said. (Orange County Patch)
  2. Swish! Get on the ice at the Paséa Hotel & Spa's Ice Rink "where the sand meets the snow." The Huntington Beach ice rink is back for a third year with "oceanfront ice skating, reserved firepit experiences, theme nights, holiday cocktails and bites, group skate sessions, performances and more." The ice skating rink will be open from Nov. 25 to Dec. 31. (Orange County Patch)
  3. A man was struck by a car that was fleeing a "wild" Anaheim street takeover when police arrived. The incident happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of South Rio Vista Street and East South Street. Surveillance video showed a red Ford Mustang doing doughnuts before police arrived. "People are getting hurt and it’s not funny. It’s not a game,” said area resident Bret Walton. (KTLA Los Angeles)
