Holidays Return To Disneyland: Seasonal Celebration Schedule: 2023-24
Prepare to step into a winter wonderland at Disneyland Resort in 2023. Here's when the transformation will begin and what new to expect.

ANAHEIM, CA — The Happiest Place on Earth will transform into a winter wonderland for winter 2023-24 starting Nov. 10, the resort announced this week. Families can get a head start on creating memories for the Disney Festival of Holidays and Holidays at the Disneyland Resort.

Disney Festival of Holidays arrives on Nov. 10 inside Disney California Adventure Park. The themed festival is inspired by diverse dishes and cherished traditions of Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day, which are reflected in music and parades throughout that area.

At the food trucks scattered across the park, guests can sample new and returning food and beverages such as southern mac and cheese and a beef brisket slider, accompanied by upbeat music at the Palisades Stage, Sonoma Terrace and for the first time, the Hollywood Backlot, where Disney Festival of Holidays will also be celebrated.

A Sip and Savor Pass will be available to purchase, offering eight sharable tabs to trade for select food and nonalcoholic beverages from several marketplaces and select dining locations in Disney California Adventure.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! returns to Paradise Gardens Park for its tenth season. For 2023/24, guests will be able to taste their way through an all-new menu at Paradise Garden Grill.

As for parades, The Three Caballeros will host a joyous street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their holiday best.
Additional festivities include live music and dancing, visits with beloved Disney characters and special appearances by Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto.”

From the hotels to the castle and Main Street U.S.A., Disneyland's festive decorations. At the hotels, grand Christmas trees will be decorated with uniquely themed ornaments in both theme parks, the Downtown Disney District, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel.

At the center of Disneyland Resort, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will be dressed in frozen sparkle.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will feature a festive gingerbread house.
Best of all, at the end of the night, expect a bit of Disney magic, as “snow” is scheduled to fall every night in select areas of Disneyland Park.
The attractions will also feature a sign of the seasons with ornaments, lights and boughs embellishing the beloved attractions.
In Disneyland, “it’s a small world” Holiday will feature characters serenading guests with choruses of jolly tunes.

In New Orleans Square, Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” redecorates the Haunted Mansion into the frightfully festive Haunted Mansion Holiday, complete with a hauntingly delightful gingerbread house.

At Disney California Adventure, expect some changes to beloved Cars Land rides, as they transform with the season to Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, which will both undergo seasonal spins for the “haul-idays.”

Best of all, Santa will be on hand to pose for family photos and hear who has been naughty and nice at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. You can also find him at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and the Disneyland Hotel.

“A Christmas Fantasy Parade” will spread holiday cheer in Disneyland Park, starring characters from Disney Animation’s “Frozen,” Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story” and more.
The “Believe…In Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular will illuminate the night sky over Disneyland Park with breathtaking fireworks and sprinklings of snow.
For guests who want to add even more holiday magic to their trip, the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour will offer a hosted experience of select seasonal offerings and reserved viewing for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade.”
