'ICE Out Of OC' Peaceful Protest In Santa Ana Sees Hundreds

Roughly 300 people gathered in Orange County Wednesday outside a federal courthouse in Santa Ana protesting ongoing immigration raids.

SANTA ANA, CA — Hundreds of people gathered Wednesday outside the Ronald Reagan Federal Building and Courthouse in Santa Ana to protest ongoing immigration raids reported in Orange County.

The peaceful protest started after 6 p.m. and quickly grew in size, with protesters calling for "ICE Out of OC" and for fellow protestors to remain peaceful.

According to The Orange County Register, the rally attracted people from all walks of life — including at least six members of the California National Guard on North Birch and 4th Street, where street closures were in place through the day.

Through the night, the protesters took to the streets of downtown Santa Ana and were joined by roughly 75-100 vehicles, according to CountyNews.com.

There were no immediate reports of arrests.
