Here are the top stories today in Orange County:
- A man "was airlifted to safety" from Orange County wilderness park in Aliso Viejo Saturday. OCFA firefighters and park rangers rescued a man, who had an injured lower leg, after they arrived at 9:43 a.m. at Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Sean Doran said. Rescuers used a rescue helicopter to lift the man, who had an injured lower leg and transport him safely to a hospital. (CBS Los Angeles)
- Meet "the newest addition" to the O.C. Sheriff's department— a black 10-week old puppy named Marco! This cute pup will also have an important role; he is the newest member of the Search and Rescue team. The black lab "will start training soon" to become a "Human Remains Detection K9."
