Man Arrested After Motel Killing In Orange County: Police
One man was dead and another was arrested in connection with the weekend shooting, according to police.
ANAHEIM, CA — A man was arrested over the weekend in connection with a fatal shooting at an Anaheim motel, police announced Monday.
Amir Karkehabadi, 59, of Anaheim, was detained at the Villa Inn after the shooting Saturday and booked on suspicion of murder, police said.
Officers responded around 6:15 p.m. to the motel in the 700 block of South Beach Boulevard and arrived to find a man in his 60s suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to police, who said the victim was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after the shooting.

A handgun was found at the scene, police said, adding the investigation is ongoing.
