Man Who Gunned Down Another Man At OC Strip Club Sentenced
A 24-year-old man pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced to nine years in prison for shooting another man at a strip club in Anaheim.
ANAHEIM, CA — A 24-year-old man pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced to nine years in prison for shooting another man at a strip club in Anaheim two years ago.
Raymond Anthony Cabral Jr. and victim "knew each other" and the shooting was triggered by a "personal beef," Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Shane Carringer said at the time charges were filed.
The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries following the shooting, Carringer said.

The shooting occurred about 2 a.m. April 11, 2021, at the strip club in the 600 block of East Ball Road, between Anaheim and State College boulevards, according Carringer.
Cabral pleaded guilty to assault with a semiautomatic firearm and admitted a sentencing enhancement for inflicting great bodily injury on the victim while committing a felony. As part of the plea deal, an attempted murder charge was dismissed along with sentencing enhancements for the personal use of a firearm, inflicting great bodily injury on the victim and attempted premeditated murder.

Cabral was given credit for 1,672 days behind bars.
