OCC Hosts Fall Book Sale: Bestsellers, Romance And More For $1

COSTA MESA, CA — Orange County residents looking to snag a few new books at a good price point should plan on hitting the Fall Book Sale in Costa Mesa later this month.

The Orange Coast College Friends of the Library will host its Fall Book Sale Oct. 19 and Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Tuesday, OCC will offer a pre-sale for members from 9 to 10 a.m., Orange Coast College announced.

The fair will offer a variety of books from bestsellers, romance and mysteries to science, art history and computers. Most books will go for $1 and the last two hours of the sale on Wednesday afternoon will end with a $2 per bag sale.

Anyone can join Friends of the Library before the sale to take advantage of the one-hour presale on Tuesday. The sale will be held in the OCC Library Lecture room, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. Attendees may park in Lot E, Fairview and Merrimac.

Masks will not be required but they are recommended, OCC said.
