Olympian's Gold Medal Stolen From Her Car, Anaheim Man Charged
A gold medal belonging to Jordyn Poulter, who won it in volleyball at the Tokyo Olympics, was reported stolen in May.

ANAHEIM, CA — An Anaheim man was charged Tuesday in the theft of an Olympian's gold medal, authorities said.
Jordan Fernandez, 31, pleaded not guilty to two counts of burglary, two counts of identity and one count of bringing or sending a controlled substance into a jail.
He's being held at the Theo Lacy Facility on no bail, according to jail records from the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Fernandez is due back in court on June 15.

The Anaheim Police Department said a gold medal belonging to Olympic volleyball player Jordyn Poulter was stolen May 25. Poulter won the gold medal during the Tokyo Olympics.
Police said Poulter parked her car in a garage in the 1500 block of East Lincoln Avenue. Several items were missing from her car when she returned, including the gold medal.

Fernandez was arrested on suspicion of the theft following "several investigative leads," Anaheim police said.
Poulter's gold medal has not been found, and there is a $1,000 reward for its return — no questions asked.
