Orange County Teenager Missing For A Month Found
The 15-year-old girl had been missing since May 5 after last being seen leaving her Yorba Linda home.
YORBA LINDA, CA — A Yorba Linda teenager who went missing from her Yorba Linda home in early May has been found, the Orange County Sheriff's Department announced Thursday.
The 15-year-old was found in the Los Angeles area and returned safely to her family, the sheriff's department said. The agency did not release any additional info on how authorities found the girl.
Valanitta Jingles, the girl's mother, posted on Facebook that her daughter was "recovering in the hospital."

"Thank you to everyone who prayed and helped my family," she said. "Thank you in advance for respecting the privacy of our minor daughter as we get her the help she needs to heal."
The 15-year-old had been missing since May 5 after being last seen leaving her home in the 20000 block of Volterra Lane. She was considered an at-risk missing person by the sheriff's department and left without her needed medication for an unspecified condition.

The girl's disappearance was not the first time she was reported missing. The girl went missing for five days in April 2021 before being found, Voice of OC reported.
