Pedestrian Dies on Christmas Morning After Hit-and-Run in Fullerton
Police say they are still looking for the driver who hit the pedestrian.
FULLERTON, CA — A pedestrian who was critically injured in a hit-and- run collision on Dec. 20 died from injuries just five days later on Christmas morning, the Fullerton Police Department said Sunday.
Police responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle just after 10:23 p.m. in the area of South Gilbert Street and Carol Drive on Dec. 20.
They found a man badly injured and rushed him to a trauma center. The driver failed to stop, render aid or remain at the scene, authorities said.

The victim remained in critical condition until he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police described the suspect vehicle as a white, four-door sedan believed to have sustained front-end damage.
