Still, there's a much bigger payoff for this ride: a 50-foot drop into Tiana's Bayou bash.
Imagineers use modern storytelling techniques for the multi-tiered log ride, akin to Pirates of the Caribbean. If you can, stick around to see it with bright lights and colors at night.

The structure's design is vibrant and bright, inviting everyone to the lines available by virtual queue.

As your log ride moves along the bayou, you'll see Tiana and her friends and learn about their musical journey.
As you "shrink down to frog size," look for Tiana and familiar friends from "The Princess and the Frog," both in animatronics and on well-placed screens.
Inside, animatronic bayou friends will sing and play instruments while your log ride continues.
Music abounds as you float along, with dips and whorls familiar from the former ride.
And yes, chances are, you will get wet.
Use your Disneyland App to join the complimentary virtual queue when you go. "Accessible only via the Disneyland app is required to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure," a park spokesperson said.
"We know guests are excited to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and wanted to provide an additional option later in the day to join the virtual queue," a park spokesperson said. "Guests will have three opportunities to join the complimentary virtual queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at 7 a.m., noon, or 4 p.m."
A note on the Virtual Queue System: Guests can only hold one attraction boarding group at a time.
"After redeeming an existing boarding group, guests can join the virtual queue for another attraction," she said. The “World of Color” and Haunted Mansion Holiday will continue to offer only two drops per day, at 7 a.m. and noon.
Ride via Lightning Lane Multi-Pass: "Guests may get a quicker entry by booking an arrival window and using the Lightning Lane entrance with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi-Pass," they said.
Parents! Younger and smaller guests who do not meet the minimum 40-inch height requirement can ask a cast member about the complementary Rider Switch feature.
After “dropping on in,” guests may want to take a piece of the bayou home with them, in the form of a digital picture available at the end of the ride.
"Guests can receive complimentary digital downloads of their attraction photo; the photo is also included with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass and PhotoPass+ One Day," they said.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure-themed merchandise is now available at the new Louis’ Critter Club retail shop.
