Radiant Futures’ Enchanting ¾ Time Dueling Pianos Event Notably Raises More Than $19,200
Funds raised at the entertaining event will help the Orange County-based nonprofit organization build a safer community for everyone

Radiant Futures’ annual Dueling Pianos fundraiser reached an exciting new milestone this year, with tickets sold exclusively through sponsorships for the first time.
The event, held on October 30 during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, featured a magical evening of live music performed in an intimate outdoor setting. The sold-out celebration raised more than $19,200 in support of Radiant Futures, formerly known as Women’s Transitional Living Center, thanks to the generosity of sponsors and guests who share in the organization’s mission to end the cycle of domestic violence and human trafficking.
Titled “One Short Day at Radiant Futures” the nonprofit’s Eighth Annual 3/4 Time Dueling Pianos event, held at its Fullerton campus, called attention to the unfortunate fact that one in three women and one in four men will experience intimate partner violence (IPV) in their lifetimes. This can be physical or sexual violence, stalking, psychological aggression or other transgressions.

Guests at the event generously donated money to have their favorite tunes submitted to the dueling pianists and singers, Valerie Chaikin and Jake Cassman, in the hope they might perform them. Members of the audience also sang their personal favorites.
The evening was made possible through the generosity of many sponsors who supported at various levels. Top Sponsors included Banc of California, Columbia Bank, the McCarthy Family, and Republic Services, whose leadership and commitment played a key role in the event’s success. Additional Sponsors included Alliance for Hope International, California Bank and Trust, Loeser Law, Yolotl.Zito Wellness, and Customers Bank, whose contributions helped make the fundraiser a meaningful celebration of music, connection, and community impact.
