Throughout the day, the chance of precipitation across Orange County will be 40 percent and temperatures are likely to be in the mid-'60s, according to the National Weather Service.
The brunt of the storm is expected to arrive Tuesday, weather reports say, with low temperatures and rain showers projected to intensify until Thursday, where stormy weather will peak with a chance of thunderstorms.

National Weather Service meteorologist Joe Dandrea told the Orange County Register that while there may be thunderstorms this week, the overall rainfall is only projected to be about a third of an inch across most of the region.
