  1. Orange County cities are struggling with electric bike regulations. Residents are concerned about accidents with the uptick in fast-moving, motorized bikes, and south Orange County cities are trying to adopt new rules to limit "how and when residents can use electric bikes." The first e-bikes started to appear in the 1990s, but the number of e-bikes greatly increased during the Covid-19 pandemic. (Voice of OC)
  2. A 94-year-old Orange County woman is still "critically missing." Shirley “Jean” Airth was last seen leaving her home in the 32000 block of Via Buena in San Juan Capistrano on Dec. 18, officials said. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to find her. (KTLA Los Angeles)
  3. The Orange County Power Authority welcomed a new communications and external affairs director. On Monday, OCPA announced that Joe Mosca, from Encinitas, who has both energy and local government experience, is its new director of communications and external affairs. (Los Angeles Times)
