SoCal Dad With Baby Mistaken For Homeless Man, Police Called In OC: Report
A Huntington Beach father who was walking with his baby was shocked after a neighbor mistook him for a homeless man and called police.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A Huntington Beach man who was walking with his baby said he was stunned when a neighbor mistook him for a homeless man and called the police, KTLA reported.
Chapman Hamborg, 32, is a father of four children and an artist who was taking his morning walk with his newborn daughter in a baby sling when police officers suddenly approached him, the report said.
According to KTLA, authorities said they received a call from a neighbor who said Hamborg was a homeless man with a stolen baby. The interaction was captured and distributed on social media by Hamborg.

"I am a little disheveled," he told KTLA. "I hadn't gotten ready for the day yet. I had my hair up in my messy bed head. My pants were a little baggy and there was a hole in my slipper."
The incident left Hamborg stunned, he told KTLA.
