Suspect Faces 2 Counts Of Attempted Murder In OC Weekend Bar Shooting
Officers were on patrol Saturday in Olde Towne Orange when they heard the gunshots, authorities said.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A 32-year-old man was charged Wednesday with shooting two other men in a downtown bar in Orange.
Andrew Phillip Gonzalez was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a firearm, a count of armed criminal action and a count of carrying a loaded unregistered gun in public, all felonies.
Gonzalez also faces sentencing enhancements for firing a gun and inflicting great bodily injury on the victims.

Gonzalez is accused of getting into a dispute at a bar just after midnight early Saturday in the 200 block of West Chapman Avenue and shooting the two victims, according to Lt. Phil McMullen of the Orange Police Department.
Officers patrolling in the area heard the gunfire and rushed to the bar, where they found the two men who had sustained wounds that were not considered life-threatening, McMullen said.
