Police said thieves appeared to seek out work trucks in several neighborhoods, stealing hand tools and power tools.
PACIFICA, CA — Investigators in Pacifica are hoping neighbors have surveillance images that could help them identify suspects in a rash of thefts targeting work trucks, according to police.
In a news release, police said officers fielded several reports of vehicle thefts Sunday involving work trucks in the Fairmont, Westview and Pacific neighborhoods. Police believe the suspect or suspects targeted the trucks between 1:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., specifically stealing hand tools and power tools.
Police are asking community members in the area to check their surveillance cameras for any footage showing suspicious activity during the time period. Anyone with information or footage that could help can contact the department at 650-738-7314 or via Silent Witness at 650-359-4444.
