Rising Sun Leads To 3-Vehicle Crash In Pacifica: Police
A driver who drifted into oncoming traffic Monday told investigators their vision was obscured by the morning sun.

PACIFICA, CA — Authorities believe the rising sun played a role in a crash that sent two drivers to the hospital Monday in Pacifica.
According to the Pacifica Police Department, 911 callers reported a three-vehicle crash around 8 a.m. on Fassler Avenue, between Driftwood Circle and Ohlone Drive.
Officers at the scene determined a Ford sedan driving eastbound drifted into oncoming traffic and hit a Dodge truck head-on before getting rear-ended by a Toyota, police said. The driver told investigators their visibility was obscured by the sun, causing them to drift out of their lane.
