Suspected DUI Driver Arrested After Crash Into Construction Equipment
The suspect had minor injuries and was treated at a hospital following the San Mateo County wreck.
PACIFICA, CA — A 54-year-old man suspected of drunk driving crashed his vehicle into construction equipment early Sunday in Pacifica, police said.
Officers responded about 12:23 a.m. to the wreck, in the area of Oceana Boulevard and Avalon Drive.
The car hit a construction sign and equipment, and officers found the driver, a San Bruno man, in a nearby parking lot.

The man allegedly showed signs of being intoxicated and a DUI investigation led officers to believe he was under the influence at the time of the collision, according to the Pacifica Police Department.
The suspect had minor injuries and was treated at a hospital. He was issued a criminal citation with a court appearance date.
