Teen Arrested After 'Brutal Assault' In Moss Beach
A 17-year-old boy is accused of beating an 18-year-old with a blunt object at a house on the Peninsula coastline.

MOSS BEACH, CA — A San Francisco teen was arrested early Monday after authorities allege he brutally beat an 18-year-old in Moss Beach.
According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the scene on Barranca Lane around 2:15 a.m., where they found the victim suffering from major injuries to the face and head.
Investigators said a teen girl told deputies she was inside her house when an 18-year-old man she knew jumped into her open window, screaming for help. Investigators said the 17-year-old suspect arrived moments later, jumped in the window, and began to beat the victim's face with a blunt object.

Medics rushed the victim to the hospital to receive treatment for facial trauma. The 17-year-old boy was booked into the San Mateo County Youth Services Center on suspicion of burglary and assault with a deadly weapon.
