Are You Holding The Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In The Westside?

A ticket with five of the six winning numbers was sold in Los Angeles County and is worth nearly $3 million.

MAR VISTA, CA — A Mega Millions lottery ticket with five numbers excluding the Mega number was sold in Mar Vista, the California Lottery announced at last night's drawing.

The winning ticket, now worth $2,941,708 was sold at the 76 Minimart at 11280 National Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Tuesday night's ticket matched numbers 8-23-44-45-53 and was missing the Mega number 3.
There was no jackpot winner for this draw, so the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will grow to an estimated $28 million.

According to the California Lottery, the drawing was the first since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold, and the odds of matching all six winning numbers is 1 in more than 302 million. However, the overall chance of winning a prize of at least $2 is 1 in 24.

There were 50,037 winning tickets with at least one winning number in this draw with people winning anywhere from $2 to more than $4,000.
