Hiker, 53, Rescued From Topanga State Park
Paramedics were lowered from LAFD helicopters to assess and treat the hiker on Temescal Fire Road, LAFD said.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Firefighters rescued a 53-year-old male hiker from a remote location in Topanga State Park in Pacific Palisades Sunday.
The 911 call was received by the Los Angeles Fire Department at 9:32 a.m., according to LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
Paramedics were lowered from LAFD helicopters to assess and treat the hiker on Temescal Fire Road, Lantz said.
