County health officials cautioned Pacific Palisades residents from being in the ocean, as bacteria levels exceeded state safety standards.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — County health officials cautioned Pacific Palisades residents from being in the ocean, as bacteria levels exceeded state safety standards at multiple beaches.
The Los Angeles County Public Health Department collects samples weekly from various sites year-round to test and monitor bacteria levels. On Friday, the division found the ocean water at Will Rogers State Beach exceeded state standards for bacterial levels.
Residents were urged to avoid the ocean 100 yards up and down the coast from Santa Monica Canyon Creek near Will Rogers Tower 18.
