Pacific Palisades Burger Named Best Of South Land: Report
Hank's Double Diamond Burger from Hank's restaurant was named the best burger in the Southland by an LA Times Reader's Poll.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — The Los Angeles Times "Best of the Southland 2022" Readers' Choice Poll named Hank's Double Diamond Burger from Hank's restaurant in Pacific Palisades the best burger in the Southland.
Created by Executive Chef Isias Peña, the Double Diamond Burger has cheddar cheese, butter lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and Hank's house sauce. In honor of the award, Peña said he would be offering a special deal, which will include the burger, a choice of fries, onion rings or salad and a non-alcoholic drink, draft beer or wine for $25 a person until Dec. 12. Normally the burger with a side is valued at $27.

“The Hank’s Team and I are honored by this award and many, many thanks to everyone that voted,” Peña told the Santa Monica Mirror. “We take great pride in the making of our burgers at Hank’s, and we also have a new menu that has something for everyone featuring steaks, seafood, and a selection of small and shared plates, so we invite you all to come enjoy!”
Hank's, named after owner Rick Caruso's father Hank, is known for American classics such as steak fries, lobster mac and cheese and market-fresh salads.

The restaurant is located in Palisades Village at 1033 N. Swarthmore Ave.
