Temescal Canyon Road Repairs Completed, Road Fully Reopened
Long-awaited repairs of the Palisades thoroughfare have finally been completed — with protection against future issues, officials say.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — The long-awaited repairs of Temescal Canyon Road have finally been completed and the road has reopened, Councilmember Traci Park announced this week.
Both lanes of the road are now unobstructed all the way to Pacific Coast Highway. New underground pipes were installed to prevent groundwater from causing future ruptures in the road, according to Park.
The road for months was affected by a lane closure due to storm damage. The portion between Pacific Coast Highway and West Bowdin Street faced structural instability thanks to water seepage following heavy winter rain, officials said.
