1 Dead In Industrial-Related Accident Near Indio

INDIO, CA — An "industrial-related accident" in unincorporated Indio left one person dead Monday, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The incident was reported at 10:51 a.m. in the 88000 block of Fargo Canyon Road.

The person, who was not publicly identified, died at the scene.

According to the fire department, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department was overseeing the investigation.
