1 Dies, Several Injured In Fiery Desert Crash
The car was a "complete burn down to the rim," CHP officers say.
MECCA, CA — At least one person died late Saturday in a fiery crash at Grant Street and 65th Avenue in the Indio area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
An unspecified number of others were transported by air to Desert Regional Medical Center.
The crash was reported at 11:07 p.m. Saturday.
