1 Hospitalized After Vehicle Crashes Into Building In Indio

INDIO, CA — One person was hospitalized on Friday morning after a vehicle crashed into a building in Indio, authorities said.

The Riverside County Fire Department said it responded at 9:45 a.m. in the area of Jefferson Street and Avenue 42.

Crews rushed a person to the hospital with moderate injuries, the department said.

It was unclear whether the injured person was inside the vehicle or the building.

The investigation has been handed over to Building and Safety.
