1 Person Killed In I-10 Palm Springs Crash
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — A Jurupa Valley man died early Friday after making an ostensibly unsafe right turn from Interstate 10 and overturning onto a road in North Palm Springs.
Officers responded at 1:34 a.m. Friday to a report of a solo-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 10 and Garnet Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer David Torres.
The driver, identified by the coroner as 63-year-old Anthony Sebastion of Jurupa Valley, was piloting a 2016 Ford Flex eastbound on the freeway.

"For reasons still under investigation, the Ford made an unsafe turning movement to the right and drove onto the south shoulder and subsequently overturned," Torres wrote in a statement. "The Ford came to rest on its left side on Garnet Avenue."
The man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Torres.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors.
