1 Severely Burned In Palm Desert House Fire
Firefighters arrived to find a single-story home fully ablaze with heavy smoke showing.

PALM DESERT, CA — One person sustained burns to half of their body in a residential fire that broke out in Palm Desert Tuesday.
Firefighters responded at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a residential structure fire in the 73300 block of Guadalupe Avenue, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
Crews found a single-story, single-family dwelling with fire and heavy smoke.

One person suffered second- and third-degree burns to half of their body and was taken to a hospital, an RCFD spokesperson told City News Service. The victim's gender and age were not immediately available.
By 8:13 a.m., officials reported that the fire was contained and resources were expected to remain on the scene for about three hours.
