COACHELLA, CA — An off-road vehicle overturned Monday in Coachella, injuring two people.

The crash was reported at 4:47 p.m. in the 86000 block of Avenue 48 at Tyler Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

One person suffered major injuries and was taken by air ambulance to a trauma center, fire officials said. A second patient was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
