While still at the location, Indian Wells Special Enforcement team members found and arrested Sjannine Vanzant, 38, also from Palm Desert. Vanzant was wanted for thefts and credit card fraud incidents within multiple Coachella Valley cities, Cleveland said.
Both Schiavone and Vanzant were booked at the John Benoit Detention Center. The former was expected to be charged with four counts on Tuesday, including burglary, at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.
Schiavone, whose charges are set to include an enhancement for a repeated offense for vehicle theft, is ineligible for probation on account of multiple prior felony convictions.
