3 Injured In La Quinta Bus Crash: Sheriff
One person was airlifted in critical condition after a bus and another vehicle collided Tuesday evening.

LA QUINTA, CA — A crash Tuesday night involving a bus and another vehicle in La Quinta injured two and hospitalized a third, officials say.
Shortly after 6:15 p.m., the bus and vehicle collided at Washington Street and Eisenhower Drive, near Avenue 48, Lt. Deirdre Vickers of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
The bus driver and one passenger were injured in the collision and were taken to a hospital in stable condition by ground ambulance, Vickers said.

The driver of the vehicle was extricated and airlifted to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
Four other passengers were reported inside the bus, but it was unclear if they sustained any injuries.
