3 Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Breaking Into RivCo Residence

Three men were arrested on suspicion of a residential burglary in Blythe, authorities said Saturday.

BLYTHE, CA — Three men were arrested on suspicion of a residential burglary in Blythe, authorities said Saturday.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Colorado River station responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 42000 block of State Route 95 at 8 a.m. Friday.

According to deputies, the reporting party contacted the elderly homeowner, who confirmed they weren't home and no one should have been in the residence. The caller also reported seeing two males entering the residence and removing property.

When deputies arrived, they contacted and arrested 37-year-old Travis Gaudette of Escondido, who allegedly was standing in the driveway. Deputies entered the residence after making several announcements and receiving no response. Once inside, they allegedly found a second suspect hiding in the bathroom, 36-year-old Adam Pham of Westminster.

Deputies found that Pham and Gaudette were given access to the property by a third suspect, Ashton Walker, 35, of Blythe, they said. Deputies located Walker and determined he had allegedly unlawfully forced entry into the property.

Pham was allegedly in possession of numerous documents and checkbooks issued to other people, a California driver's license and a fictitious driver's license with his image and information of another person.

Gaudette, Pham and Walker were arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Walker was also arrested on suspicion of elder abuse, and Pham was arrested for alleged false personation of another and two outstanding felony warrants for fraud out of Orange County, authorities said.
