30th annual Palm Springs Open In Rancho Mirage: Final Matches

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — The 30th annual Palm Springs Open tennis tournament will conclude Sunday with semi-finals and finals matches at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.
Play began at 8 a.m.
The free tournament got underway Friday with matches at Mission Hills Country Club and Sunrise Country Club in Rancho Mirage, the Palm Valley Country Club in Palm Desert and Indian Wells Tennis Gardens in Indian Wells, according to DTA officials.

Additionally, an after-party was held Friday and Saturday nights at Chill Bar, 217 East Arenas Road, where the Player Welcome Party was held Thursday.
A Player's Party hosted by Bella da Ball was held Saturday at Reforma, 333 S. Palm Canyon Drive, Unit 2, according to the Desert Tennis Association. That event featured a silent auction and raffle benefiting AAP -- Food Samaritans, which provides nutritional support to improve the quality of the life for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses throughout the Coachella Valley.

The Palm Springs Open attracts more than 300 LGBT players worldwide and raises funds for local charities.
