4 Suspects Arrested Following Indio Robbery Investigation, 2 Suspects At Large
A 15 year old, among the suspects, was found laying on top of a loaded firearm, authorities allege.

INDIO, CA — Four people were arrested in connection to a shooting and robbery last month in Indio, as authorities continued their investigation Thursday.
Detectives, with assistance from the Gang Impact Team, served a pair of warrants about 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 47000 block of Jefferson Street and in the 82000 block El Paseo Avenue, according to the Indio Police Department.
The warrants stemmed from a shooting and robbery on Nov. 24, 2025.

The first served search warrant at Jefferson Street revealed Jesse Hernandez, 23, allegedly attempted to get rid of a firearm from a second-story window before he was taken into custody, police said. The firearm was later recovered.
A 15-year-old boy was inside the residence and was wanted in connection with a separate armed robbery.

He was "found lying on top of a loaded firearm," the department alleged.
Hernandez was arrested on suspicion of a felon in possession of a firearm, accessory to a robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
The teenager was arrested on suspicion of firearm possession and armed robbery that occurred on Oct. 28, 2025.
During the second served search warrant, Emmanuel Zepeda, 24, allegedly attempted to conceal a firearm inside an abandoned vehicle. He was arrested on suspicion of weapons violations.
Authorities found ammunition and two Glock fully automatic conversion switches, police said. Jeremiah Hernandez, 21, was arrested on suspicion of violating post-release community supervision.
"Two male suspects remain outstanding," police said.
Details regarding the alleged crimes were not immediately available.
"The safety of our community remains the highest priority of the Indio Police Department. These arrests reflect the dedication and professionalism of our officer and detectives, as well as the strong collaboration with the Gang Impact Team and our allied law enforcement partners," the department stated.
