5 RivCo Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Weapons Offenses
Five 28-year-old men were stopped at a traffic light, where police say they recovered several guns.

COACHELLA, CA — Five 18-year-old men were arrested after they were accused of weapons violations during a traffic stop in Coachella, authorities said Wednesday.
Around 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Thermal Station pulled a vehicle over near Highway 86 and Avenue 50, according to the department.
The occupants were identified as Alejandro Herrera, Fernando Regalado Jr., Angel Uriate, and Alejandro Rodriguez, all of Indio, as well as Jorge Torres of Coachella.

During the investigation, deputies reported that they discovered a handgun, rifle and ammunition. All five men were booked into the John Benoit Detention Center on suspicion of firearm possession and conspiracy, sheriff’s officials said.
