8 Arrested In Drug, Firearm Seizure In Blythe
Eight people were arrested and two remained behind bars Friday following probation and parole searches, authorities say.
BLYTHE, CA — Eight people were arrested and two remained behind bars Friday following probation and parole searches in which narcotics and firearms were seized, authorities said.
Alejandro Garcia, 45, and Aaron Michael Jones, 30, were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of violating their probation, according to the Blythe Police Department.
Authorities said Garcia was also booked on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and Jones on suspicion of possessing a firearm and obstructing a peace officer.

Both suspects were being held at the John J. Benoit Detention Center in Indio. Garcia was being held on $50,000 bail and Jones was held without bail.
Authorities conducted six probation and parole searches Wednesday, seizing a handgun, three rifles, methamphetamine and about 5 pounds of illegal cannabis, while arresting eight people, officials said.

According to police, 24-year-old Norma Madera; Mariza Cortez, 25; and Joel White, 42, were initially arrested for alleged outstanding misdemeanor warrants, but were later released and issued citations.
Thomas Carnell Noble, 50, was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, according to authorities. He posted $10,000 bail the day of his arrest.
Dennis Irvin Holley, 42, and Quentin Charles Dawkins, 39, were both arrested on suspicion of being felons in possession of a firearm and ammunition, authorities said. Dawkins was also booked on suspicion of an alleged outstanding felony arrest warrant.
Both were released from Blythe Jail after posting bail on Thursday. Dawkins posted $25,000 bail and Holley posted $10,000 bail.
