85° Bakery Opens In Palm Desert: Report

PALM DESERT, CA — Taiwanese bakery, 85°C Bakery Cafe, is now open in Palm Desert and has begun its soft opening phase, according to KESQ.

For the time being, the cafe will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In November, those hours will extend from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

"We have over 50 varieties of cake, bread, coffee, and teas. [It] brings a little bit of diversity of the Asian culture into the Coachella Valley since it is – I feel like it is a little bit limited on the Asian cuisines and whatnot," Nhi Nguyen, a corporate trainer for the company, told KESQ.

So far, droves of Coachella Valley residents have already visited the cafe, which offers favorites some locals had previously driven all the way to Los Angeles for.

85°C Bakery Cafe-Palm Desert is located at 34140 Monterey Ave.
