Cabazon Man Arrested For Allegedly Having $3,500 Worth Of Meth

Duane Ford, who was arrested for violating probation, was allegedly found with meth and two guns.

CABAZON, CA -- A Cabazon resident was arrested Tuesday for allegedly being in possession of one pound of meth.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department conducted a probation compliance check on Duane Ford, 55, at the 49000 block of Blanche Avenue when they discovered the drug, along with one handgun and one shotgun, officials said. The pound of meth is valued at $3,500.

Deputies said they also found stolen property at the residence.

Ford was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales, possession of firearms while in possession of controlled substances, and a violation of probation. He was booked into custody at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.
