Cat Dies In Palm Springs House Fire, 1 Hospitalized
A Palm Springs home was red tagged after a blaze rendered it unlivable.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — A residential fire killed a cat and left one person with moderate burn injuries in Palm Springs.
The fire was reported at 1:57 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of East Amado, according to the Palm Springs Fire Department.
The human occupants evacuated the home prior to the arrival of fire crews. One female, whose age was unspecified, was taken to a hospital.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
