Child Injured At Coachella Park

COACHELLA, CA -- A child suffered major injuries Saturday afternoon in Coachella. The incident was reported at 3:38 p.m. in Rancho Las Flores Park, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Officials said firefighters responded to a report of a child with a head injury at the park.

The child was then transported to an area hospital by air ambulance.

It's unclear how the child was injured.
