Coachella Valley Firebirds Announce Seattle-Area Game Dates,Venues
A four game stretch in Seattle is coming in October for the Seattle Kracken's American Hockey League affiliate.
COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — The sites for the Coachella Valley Firebirds' four Seattle-area games were announced Monday, with the Seattle Kraken's American Hockey League affiliate playing two games at its parent team's practice facility and one each at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle and Everett, Washington.
The Firebirds will face the Abbotsford Canucks, the Vancouver Canucks' AHL affiliate, Oct. 21 at the Kraken Community Iceplex and Oct. 23 at Climate Pledge Arena, the Kraken's home rink.
The Firebirds will play the Calgary Wranglers, the Calgary Flames' AHL affiliate, Oct. 28 at Angel of the Winds Arena, the home rink of Western Hockey League's Everett Silvertips. The Firebirds will also play Calgary Oct. 29 at the Kraken Community Iceplex.

Because Acrisure Arena is under construction, the Firebirds will begin the season by playing 18 road games and four in the Seattle area before their first home game, Dec. 18.
