CSUSB Palm Desert Campus to Host 'Alice in Wonder Tierra' Performances
Performances are set for Nov. 19-20 in the Indian Wells Theater.

The spirit of the holidays comes early this year when Joyce Bulifant and Gavin MacLeod star in a cast of 40 in a new family musical “Christmas at the Grand Ole Dame,” a love story interwoven into the history of a famous hotel, on Nov. 19 and 20.
On December 1 and 2, the CSUSB Theatre department will present “Alicia in Wonder Tierra,” a story about a girl named Alicia who enters a Mexican curio shop with her mother and accidentally finds herself transported into fantastic realms, filled with amazing creatures and brilliant Mexican imagery. Steeped in Latin American cultural icons, Alicia begins to learn the difference between tradition and stereotype as she attempts to find her way back home to her family. This unique, family-friendly production features actors and puppets performing side-by-side in a space that reveals new wonders as each scene evolves.
