Desert Region Residents Join LLUCH Foundation Board
The Foundation Board's volunteer members support the Hospital's efforts to provide health and healing to children in a four county area.

From Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital: Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) announces three Rancho Mirage residents have joined its Foundation Board.
Jill Golden owns and manages a date ranch in Indio. She strongly advocates for children’s services throughout the Coachella Valley. She is a long-time champion of LLUCH through her membership and service for the Big Hearts for Little Hearts Desert Guild.
Patrick Evans is chief meteorologist for CBS Local in the Coachella Valley and host of “Eye on the Desert” television show. Evans supports a variety of causes in the Coachella Valley.
Dale Rotner has supported LLUCH through its Desert Guild organization since its inception in 2002. She has been a passionate supporter of the guild’s mission to support the services provided to critically ill desert community children through Loma Linda.
The Foundation Board’s volunteer members support the Hospital’s efforts to provide health and healing to children in a four county area. The pediatric emergency department is part of the only Level I trauma center in the Inland Empire.
The Foundation Board also plays a key role in assisting Loma Linda University Health complete Vision 2020: The Campaign for a Whole Tomorrow. Vision 2020 is a $360 million comprehensive philanthropic initiative and represents the largest investment in health care and education in the Inland Empire.
The Vision 2020 campaign supports priorities in:
- Clinical care, allowing Loma Linda University Health to continue providing excellent health care in a new adult hospital and expanded Children’s Hospital.
- Education, providing funding for increased scholarship endowments, faculty development and new educational approaches.
- Research, constructing a research center where Loma Linda University Health’s best scientists can collaborate across disciplines.
- Wholeness, expanding Loma Linda University Health’s historic emphasis on living a healthy lifestyle and sharing that knowledge locally and internationally.
