Dog Saved In Palm Springs RV Fire

Crews were able to retrieve the owner's dog, Lucky, as well as some personal belongings, according to the Palm Springs Fire Department.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Palm Springs firefighters extinguished a residential fire Wednesday, saving a dog in the process.

Firefighters were dispatched to the site of a burning RV on West Mesquite Avenue shortly before 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Crews were able to retrieve the owner's dog, Lucky, as well as some personal belongings, according to a Palm Springs Fire Department statement.

Lt. Ronald Skyberg told City News Service that the crews were able to douse the fire "very quickly after arriving."

No injuries were reported, Skyberg said.
