East Riverside County 911 Lines Fully Restored
After having interruptions in eastern Riverside County, all systems are returned to normal according to District Supervisor V. Manuel Perez.
COACHELLA VALLEY, CA —Supervisor V. Manuel Perez announced in coordination with the Riverside County Executive Office and public safety departments that 911 lines were fully restored Thursday after having interruptions in eastern Riverside County.
The interruptions in the 911 system began Wednesday evening and continued into Thursday afternoon as it continued to affect some cell phone carriers, according to county officials. The system was fully restored for everyone as of 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
County officials added that there are active investigations into the interruptions and the solutions needed to prevent further outages.
