Eisenhower Health Buys Neuro Vitality Center
Eisenhower Health's purchase was made possible through philanthropic support.
COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — A treatment center in Palm Springs for people with neurological issues and chronic disorders was purchased by Eisenhower Health, it was announced Monday.
Neuro Vitality Center (formerly the Stroke Recovery Center) at 2800 East Alejo Road was bought by the Rancho Mirage-based healthcare provider for an undisclosed sum.
"In partnership with Los Angeles Jewish Health (LAJHealth), Eisenhower will provide a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) at the former Neuro Vitality Center location. After a renovation, the site is expected to open with a new name and focus in the next 12 to 18 months," Eisenhower reported.

PACE is a Medicare and Medicaid program that helps people meet their healthcare needs in the community instead of going to a nursing home or other care facility.
Martin Massiello, president and CEO of Eisenhower Health, said the new facility will address the long-term healthcare needs of low-income seniors.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of our generous donors which will aid in serving the area’s most vulnerable residents," Massiello said.
Neuro Vitality Center CEO Beverly Greer said NVC has served the community for 46 years and she is pleased to turn the reins over to Eisenhower to expand services in the Coachella Valley.
